The Actuarial AALDP summer internship program provides qualified students an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand business experience, receive valuable on-the-job training, and learn about the many actuarial or analytics positions available in the insurance industry. This challenging program also includes a tailored training curriculum, networking, both peer and management social functions, and a mentor program. Actuarial interns will work on challenging assignments that will utilize and develop their technical skills as well as their overall business skills.
Types of Work you may be Involved With:
Gain knowledge about the insurance business and acquire actuarial experience working with key business areas (e.g. Business Insurance, Personal Insurance, Bond, Corporate, International)
Work in a collaborative and dynamic work environment providing recommendations to management on projects that deal with actuarial and advanced analytical related concepts
Provide qualitative and quantitative data support to ensure accuracy of metrics
Paid internship positions in Hartford, CT and St. Paul, MN
Competitive hourly rate
Subsidized apartments are available for students who live beyond a commutable distance
Positions are available beginning in early June and last approximately 10-12 weeks
