Job Decription - Looking for an individual to step in to do consulting actuarial work on property/casualty lines, which for the most part comprise Medical Malpractice, Workers’ Compensation, and General Liability in a self-insured context. This individual will need to be able to work independently at a fairly quick pace. An ACAS is preferred with several years of experience. Individual will be responsible for doing analysis and writing actuarial opinions and reports. As this is consulting, must be able to communicate effectively with clients and auditors.
Duties and Responsibilities Organize and review raw data to ensure quality, consistency, and accuracy Analyze data to meet individual needs of clients Effectively communicate with clients and others Prepare and defend actuarial communications Support auditors and regulators as required
Skills, Education, and Work Experience College Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or other quantitative discipline preferred 5+ Years of working experience Near ACAS or ACAS preferred Good analytical skills and critical thinking capabilities Ability to work both independently and as part of a group Detail oriented Excellent written and oral communication Experience with Excel
