Our global client is at the forefront of the industry building creativeservices that focus on a wide array of complex actuarial challenges and critical success factors essential for an insurer’s performance.
In this highly visible role of Senior Leader you will be responsible for leading various project teams whilst playing an integral role in the form of marketing and future growth initiatives with key client groups. This individual will assist executive committee’s in leading the charge for scalable transformation programs that are intrinsically linked to enhancing performance and businesses profitability.
Your experience will enable you to bring order and process to teams you oversee and act as a mentor to Actuaries/Analysts to help build their technical and commercial expertise. Whilst a competent ‘all-round’ Actuary who has sat in leadership roles previously, your ability to develop pricing tools and appropriate statistical pricing methodologies will be advantageous.
To be considered for the opportunity you will be able to demonstrate the following;
Minimum 10+ years actuarial experience in the P&C industry including several years management of actuarial teams
Draft statements of work, project plans and budgets involving multiple workflow streams and client teams
Serve as the day-to-day project lead, ensuring the progress of the team against established objectives, budget, timeline, deliverables and quality standards
Deliver superior, consistent project management for assigned clients internally and externally
Develop a trusted advisor relationship with contacts through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projects
Interface with colleagues from other practices and regions on assignments that reflect the client’s broader business issues
Contribute to the development of new tools and approaches
Support the generation of new business as part of the broader team
Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
Pricing expertise is required, with a focus in personal or commercial lines (property, general liability)
Significant experience leading teams and/or people management experience required
Strong analytical skills including ability to draw conclusions and identify trends from data in a logical, systematic way
