We are seeking a strong contributor who is dedicated to pursuing their actuarial exams and who is looking for an engaging work environment that values collaboration and strives for excellence. The Senior Actuarial Analyst position will be part of the Indication team and will work closely with other actuaries to review and enhance the indication process of our homeowner’s products. The primary responsibility will be to provide sound quarterly pricing indication recommendations to the Product Manager who is responsible for the performance of these states.

Primary Accountabilities

• Contributes to recommendations and significant revisions to ratemaking indication methodologies.
• Contributes to all aspects of indication development and owns the recurring process.
• Ability to partner with core business partners and provide insights and solutions to address specific business concerns.
• Explores new concepts statistical models, and data sources to deliver innovative solutions for the business.
• Monitors industry and competitor trends to determine potential impact to Actuarial strategies and solutions.

Requirements

• Educational Credentials: A bachelor’s degree and quantitative analytical knowledge is required
• Exams: Passing grades on a minimum of 4 Casualty Actuarial exams
• Relevant experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience, ideally including work in Property & Casualty insurance;
